MINDFULNESS: Mindfulness for Pain Relief

Mindfulness is recognized as a powerful way to help manage stress, depression, anxiety and other sources of struggle in a person’s life. But the role of mindfulness in managing and recovering from pain is less widely recognized. In this workshop, participants will learn what mindfulness is and how it relates specifically to pain, and will be led in an experiential exercise to understand directly the power of mindfulness to help with pain.

Barbara Gosselin, P.T. is a Holistic Bodyworker with over 25 years’ experience working with people struggling with pain. She combines her expertise in Craniosacral Therapy, Energy Healing and Physical Therapy to offer her clients a gentle yet powerful body-mind approach to recovering from pain. She is also the Co-Director of the Center for Body Mind Integration in Lexington, MA.
