FLOAT Boston

A float tank is a small shallow pool filled with water nearly saturated with Epsom salt, so individuals float effortlessly. The tank is kept warm, at body temperature, and it is enclosed so it is completely dark and quiet. It’s utterly relaxing.

Excessive stress exacerbates many chronic health conditions. Floating is a natural and chemical-free way to bring down the amount of stress in one’s life. Nothing gives the brain and body a more complete rest than a float tank. It automatically triggers a physiological relaxation response, the opposite of fight-or-flight, and tells the body it can let down its defenses and clean up the excess adrenaline and cortisol.

Services provided: Flotation sessions of 60 and 90 minutes (back to back long floats available); retail with floating-relevant products; One-time packages and memberships that come with extra benefits, such as a discount on retail items; showers with shampoo and a private-label Lemongrass & Sage Body Wash, as well as Lemongrass & Sage lotion.
